Step 1 of 3 · Digital

Will the idea land?

Review the message with your artwork open beside you.

Quick copy check Count your words

0 words · Space-separated count

Seven words is a useful starting benchmark, not a pass/fail limit. Test whether the message makes sense in the time people have at this placement.

This scratchpad is not saved or included in your review.

One clear takeaway

Can a fresh pair of eyes explain the main idea after a brief look?

Copy fits the viewing moment

Keep the message short enough for the location and viewing time.

The advertiser is obvious

The brand should be recognisable without hunting for it.

The next step is easy

If there is a URL or response instruction, make it memorable. Reserve QR interactions for suitable pedestrian settings.

4 unchecked in this section

From review to handover

Make the next revision
the right one.

01 / Review honestly

Unsure is still unchecked.

Keep the artwork and current operator specification beside you. Only mark a check good when you have reviewed it.

02 / Give useful feedback

Turn a concern into a task.

Use “Needs work” to reveal a suggested next step. Add a note with the exact change or the person who will handle it.

03 / Share the review

Keep the handover clear.

Download or copy the results for your designer. Resolve open items, then ask the operator to approve the final artwork.

What this checklist is based on

BillboardGuide’s review prompts combine general creative guidance with questions to check against your booking’s production sheet. Operator requirements take priority.

FAQ

About your creative review

4 questions

Does this tool check my artwork automatically?

No. This is a guided self-review with your artwork open beside you. You decide the status of each check. The tool organises your answers and notes into a review you can download or copy; it does not inspect files or certify production readiness.

What if I don’t have the production specification yet?

Leave those checks unchecked and request the current template from the operator for each booked site. A generic format name is not enough to confirm a delivery file. The size guide can help you understand dimensions while you wait.

Does switching between print and digital erase my review?

No. Message and readability answers are shared, while print and digital production answers are kept separately. Your summary and export include only the selected format. Start over clears both sets of answers, notes and the campaign name.

Where is my review saved?

One draft is saved in this browser on this device, when browser storage is available. It is not synced to an account or another device. Clearing browser data removes it. Download the review to keep a separate copy. The optional copy-counting scratchpad is not saved.
