Information visitors submit

Enquiry forms may collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, company, role, country, website, campaign markets, formats, sites, budget band, timing, duration, objectives and free-text notes. Press-release submissions may include release text, organisation, embargo date, source links and asset links.

Campaign and media-plan data

Campaign details are used to understand the request, store a record in the site database and route suitable commercial briefs. A campaign or media-plan brief may be shared with the selected partner for the purpose of answering the enquiry.

Information created by using tools

Interactive tools may process values entered by the visitor, such as media cost, impressions, budget assumptions, campaign duration, format choices or checklist answers. Tool values are used to display the requested result in the browser and may be included as context when the visitor chooses to continue into an enquiry flow.

The site should not treat a calculator result as a confirmed quote. If a visitor submits a planning request after using a tool, the submitted information can help the recipient understand the brief, but live inventory and current pricing still need to be verified separately.

Newsletter data

Newsletter subscription is separate and optional. The code stores subscriber email addresses and optional first names, and may sync opted-in contacts to Brevo when `BREVO_API_KEY` is configured.

Analytics and cookies

Google Analytics 4 is configured with measurement ID `G-P4JHS736E0` when enabled. Non-essential analytics are blocked until the visitor accepts analytics cookies. The cookie setting is stored in the browser as `bg_cookie_consent` and can be changed from the cookie settings control.

Server and security logs

The site runs on Cloudflare Workers/OpenNext infrastructure. Server, CDN and security logs may process request metadata such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, time and error details for security, debugging, abuse prevention and reliability.

Why data is processed

Data is processed to answer enquiries, route campaign briefs, operate newsletter subscriptions, measure non-sensitive site usage, prevent spam, secure the service, maintain records and improve editorial resources.

Enquiry notifications and internal handling

The repository includes integrations that can notify the site operator or internal channels about submitted enquiries when configured. Those notifications are intended to help the team respond, triage market fit, prevent lost requests and keep operational records. Access to those systems should be limited to people who need the information for support, routing, sales operations, security or administration.

Lawful bases

Where privacy law requires a lawful basis, likely bases include consent for optional newsletter and analytics cookies, legitimate interests for security logs and service improvement, and steps requested by the visitor for responding to enquiries. Owner legal review should confirm jurisdiction-specific wording.

Who receives campaign enquiries

campaign enquiries may be routed to a relevant media-planning or inventory partner that covers the requested market, format or site. Billboard Guide does not use enquiry data to automatically subscribe visitors to the newsletter, and newsletter opt-in remains separate.

International transfers and retention

The repository uses Cloudflare infrastructure, Google Analytics, Brevo when configured, Discord webhook notifications when configured, and relevant commercial partners for routed briefs. These providers or partners may process data in other countries. Records are retained only as long as needed for enquiry handling, legal, security and operational purposes.

External websites and partner forms

Billboard Guide links to third-party websites such as media owners, technology platforms, event organizers and educational providers. If a visitor follows an external link or submits information directly on a third-party site, that third party controls its own collection and use of the information. Visitors should review the destination site's privacy terms before submitting personal or campaign data there.

Security and rights

Access to admin and publishing endpoints is protected by server-side secrets. Visitors may request access, correction or deletion by using the enquiry form.

Children, links and updates

The site is intended for business and industry research, not children. External links are controlled by third parties. Policy updates will be reflected on this page with a new updated date.
